Tracy Morgan wheeled out of Knicks game after medical emergency, delays play

Tracy Morgan suffered a medical emergency courtside at the Knicks-Heat game, leading to a 10-minute delay. The 30 Rock star was wheeled out of MSG after vomiting and experiencing a bloody nose.

A medical emergency involving comedian and 30 Rock star Tracy Morgan caused a delay during the New York Knicks’ game against the Miami Heat at Madison Square Garden on Monday night.

Morgan, 56, a longtime Knicks fan, was seated courtside when he reportedly became ill, vomiting and suffering from a bloody nose, according to eyewitnesses. Video footage shared on social media showed the actor slumped in his seat before being wheeled out of the arena by medical personnel. The incident led to a delay of more than 10 minutes in the third quarter as staff attended to Morgan and cleaned the area.

Spectators in the arena expressed their concern on social media, with one user writing, “Tracy Morgan getting wheeled out from courtside at MSG … bleeding from his nose … could barely stand up … hope he’s okay.”

Morgan, best known for his roles in 30 Rock and Saturday Night Live, has had a history of serious health challenges. In 2010, he underwent a kidney transplant due to complications from diabetes. In 2014, he survived a near-fatal car accident when a Walmart truck rear-ended his limousine, leaving him in a coma for two weeks and with lasting injuries.

Just last month, Morgan participated in SNL’s 50th-anniversary celebration, appearing alongside other iconic cast members. In recent years, he has also been open about using Ozempic for weight loss, though he humorously admitted to “out-eating” the medication in a 2024 interview on The Tonight Show.

There has been no official update on Morgan’s condition following the Knicks game, and his representatives have not issued a statement. However, fans and celebrities alike have taken to social media to send their well wishes.

Despite the unsettling moment, the Knicks managed to refocus and secure a 116-95 victory over Miami.
