Succession’s final season debuted on HBO on March 26. Matthew Macfadyen is in it. It appears the actor has already found a new project to engage in following the launch of his popular series. According to a rumour in the media, Matthew has joined the cast of Deadpool 3 by Marvel. Alongside Hugh Jackman and Emmie Corrin, Ryan Reynolds will make a comeback in the movie series.

This will be the first Deadpool movie in which Marvel Studios and Reynolds and Team Deadpool collaborate closely. Feige’s involvement follows his work to revitalise the Spider-Man brand when he joined the Sony series’ creative team.

On the Emmy-winning television programme Succession, Macfadyen is most recognised for playing Shiv Roy’s husband, Tom, in a scene-stealing role. His most recent season, which debuted this past Sunday to enormous numbers, earned him the Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Emmy and BAFTA awards.

One of the most popular franchises that Disney acquired when it acquired 20th Century Fox in 2019 was “Deadpool.” The first movie made $782 million back in 2016, while “Deadpool 2” followed suit in 2018 with $785 million, breaking the previous record for the highest-grossing R-rated movie until “Joker” broke it in 2019 with $1.074 billion.

“Deadpool 3” will be directed by Shawn Levy for Marvel Studios. Reynolds most recently appeared in Levy’s “Free Guy” and “The Adam Project” films.
