Kanye West confirms a second ‘DONDA’ listening event is scheduled in Atlanta

TMZ claimed that Kanye West was preparing for another performance at the city’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium for August 5.

Kanye West’s much-delayed ninth album, ‘DONDA,’ will be the subject of a second listening event in Atlanta next week, according to Live Nation.

On July 30, TMZ claimed that West was preparing another performance at the city’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium for August 5, the night before the album’s official release date. Stadium staff has been employed for the event, according to sources.

According to TMZ, CAA and Live Nation were also putting pressure on West and his production staff to make the second ‘DONDA’ concert distinct from the first.

This next hearing party was been verified by the entertainment company Live Nation, who announced it on social media today (July 31). The August 5 event, billed Kanye West Presents The DONDA Record Release, will feature design supervision by Demna Gvasalia of Balenciaga, and hints that the album will be released shortly after.

The record was supposed to drop last Friday (July 23) on G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam Recordings, but in true Kanye flair, it never arrived on time. A representative has recently verified that ‘DONDA’ will now be launched on August 6.

Last weekend, it was revealed that the rapper had relocated to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium to complete work on the album, and this week he published photos of his basic living quarters.
