The K-pop singer and BTS member appears beside the brand’s Signature Keepall bag.
J-Hope, the face of Louis Vuitton’s latest campaign, makes his debut. The musician, dancer, and BTS member was signed as a house ambassador in February 2022 and has since been sighted front row at several Vuitton exhibitions.
J-Hope is photographed in a rose pink asymmetric jacket and matching trouser hurling the style around a stark white studio in the campaign dedicated to the house’s distinctive Keepall – a huge weekend bag that mainly does what it says on the tin.
South Korean and K-pop artists are gradually taking over the catwalks, front rows, and ads of some of the world’s most prestigious design firms. Just last month, Vuitton travelled to Seoul, where it hired Squid Game director Hwang Dong-hyuk to construct a backdrop for its latest cruise show, as well as one of the show’s major players, HoYeon Jung, to walk the runway as the event opened. Aside from Vuitton, BlackPink’s members have all signed partnerships with Chanel, Dior, and Celine.
In other Vuitton news, the SS24 men’s season officially began today in Florence, bringing us dangerously close to Pharrell Williams’ debut appearance at the helm of the house at Paris Fashion Week. Obviously, we’ll be covering it live from the frontlines, so keep an eye on Dazed next week.
