Chris Evans, better known as Captain America, has announced a short hiatus from social media sites.
Evans said goodbye to his fans by deactivating his Twitter and Instagram accounts, signalling a much-needed vacation to recharge during the summer months. Evans made the decision in order to prioritise self-care and recharge away from the virtual world.
Chris Evans informed to supporters on June 29 that he was taking a “little break” from spending time online before deactivating both his Twitter and Instagram accounts.
“Hey everyone, I’m treating myself to a summer with less screen time so I’m taking a little break from Twitter and IG,” he tweeted, according to screenshots posted on social media. “See you soon! Much love!”
The 42-year-old Marvel star also provided a more detailed reason on his Instagram Stories, mirroring a message from Rocketman star Taron Egerton, who also announced his social media exit.
