Adele stops her Vegas show to defend a fan who was asked to sit: ‘Can You Please Leave Him Alone, Please?’

“Throughout the show, he’s been bothered by security and other individuals sitting behind him. “He’s here to have fun,” Adele informed the audience.

Adele is ensuring that everyone in the audience is gentle with one another.

On Saturday, during her Weekends with Adele residency concert at The Colosseum in Las Vegas, the Grammy winner noticed people urging an eager fan to sit down, so she interrupted her performance and told everyone to leave him alone to enjoy the show.

The attendee, whose TikTok username is @juanp_lastra, posted a video to the site of himself standing and singing along as Adele played “I Drink Wine,” before a woman appeared and told him, “Look behind you. “Everybody’s upset.”

She appeared to request that he sit, and he did, but once Adele, 35, finished the song, she informed the audience, “You can stand up.”

As the following song, “Water Under the Bridge,” began, the ecstatic fan leaped back up and screamed in delight. He was then approached by a security guard and informed him, “I’ll stay calm,” as the staffer appeared to affirm that attendees are permitted to stand and sing.

Another security agent approached the fan and remarked, “You don’t have to sit down,” as Adele became aware of the disturbance and interrupted the song to address it.

“What is going on there with that young fan who’s been bothered so much since I came on for standing up?” she asked, before directly addressing the crowd member. “What’s going on with him? Yes, you, with your hand up. Yes, you!”

The “Rolling in the Deep” singer then instructed her band to “start again,” and she sang “Water Under the Bridge” another time. The fan screamed in excitement and blew kisses toward Adele, who gestured as though she caught one of the kisses and put it in her pocket, according to another video.
