In a recent interview with ETimes, the Lootera actor spoke up about the backlash he and his wife have been facing.
The Band Baaja Baaraat actor stated he understands and empathizes with the people who criticize him. He said, “That is coming from a lack of something in their life. They say when you point out something negative about a person it’s really just a reflection of them, it’s about them and it’s not about me or my wife. When that criticism comes it’s so absolutely baseless.”
Ranveer also stated that he does not feel the need to clarify everything because he is aware of reality. He said that he comes from a decent, honest, and sincere place. According to the actor, he and his wife try to help others as much as they can. Ranveer said, “People say there’s the truth and then there are different perspectives. At the end of the day I know my truth”. He went on to say that the hatred has no meaning for him and that he is unaffected by it.
