Matty looked rather perplexed as he replied, “My diss track?” The reporter had to clarify that he was referring to Taylor’s latest music release.

“Oh,” Matty said as he began to laugh in the video obtained by Entertainment Tonight. “I haven’t really listened to that much of it but I’m sure it’s good.”

Taylor and Matty had been dating for one month in June 2023, a month after she reportedly broke up with Joe Alwyn, who was her boyfriend of six years.

The singer pair, who were first romantically linked in 2014, had a short lived romance as they split in June 2023 after a resurfaced podcast interview of his began circulating on the internet where he made problematic comments about Taylor’s friend Ice Spice.

Although, Taylor has moved on from Matty and is currently in relationship with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Travis Kelce, however, it did not stop her from making music about her whirlwind romance.

Fans have speculated that her songs – But Daddy I Love Him and Fortnight – from TTPD are inspired by her romance with Matty.
