Himesh Reshammiya talks about the negative sides of being a celebrity kid- “When you have famous parents, the pressure automatically increases”

Himesh Reshammiya said, he can make out the pressure of being a daughter of a celebrity as he himself is a son of film producer Vipin Reshammiya.

Famous music director Himesh Reshammiya who can now be seen in the judge seat of the reality show Indian Idol 13, recently opened up about a bitter fact about Kids having successful parents.

Celebrity kids had been under the wrath of major controversies followed by the claims of Nepotism, foul play in the Bollywood industry post to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Even for always, celebrity kids are usually assumed to have an easier life, with no struggles and worries. But the challenges and the threats they face are lesser known.

One of the contestants of the show Kavya Limaye’s performance in Lata Mangeshkar’s emotional and romantic track ‘Agar Mujhse Mohabbat Hai’ from the 1964 movie ‘Aap Ki Parchhaiyan’ Himesh gets stunned and mesmerized.

While speaking with the participant Kavya, Reshamiya got to know that Kavya is the daughter of Gujarati singer Sachin Limaye who known for many devotional albums like ‘Gopala’, ‘Krishna Kanha’ and others.

Replying to this, Himesh Reshammiya opens up about an unavoidable challenge of a kid having famous parents. He said, he can make out the pressure of being a daughter of a celebrity as he himself is a son of film producer Vipin Reshammiya.

He stated: “You are Sachin’s daughter. When you have famous parents, the pressure automatically increases. People keep a watch on you to see if you are doing better than them or not. The struggle is different. I can relate to your pressure, and I feel that you are doing a fabulous job. Keep singing and make everyone proud.”

Kavya replied: “I am extremely happy to have been selected through the on-ground auditions and perform in front of such eminent Judges. Being the daughter of such a huge singing star can certainly be overwhelming but at the same time, through the journey of Indian Idol, my aim is to make a name for myself and make my family proud.”

The singing reality show is judged by Himesh Reshammiya, Neha Kakkar and Vishal Dadlani. It airs in the channel Sony Entertainment Television.
