Acclaimed director Ektaa Kapoor, known for her incredible contribution to daily soap operas, is buzzed around a lot. On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, Kapoor unveiled a motion poster of the upcoming film Love, Sex Aur Dhokha 2. Helmed by Dibaker Banerjee, the film is slated to release on the 19th of February.
Filmmaker Dibaker, who also directed the first instalment in 2010, will be returning to collaborate for the second part as well. His last directorial film was Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, which was released in 2021. It is produced by Ektaa Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor.
Today, on the 14th of February, Ektaa Kapoor took to her Instagram account and shared a joint post with her production venture Balaji Telefilms Limited. She shared a motion poster of the upcoming film.
The post was captioned, “Yeh Valentine’s Day nahin aasan, bas itna samajh lijiye, ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha’ ka dariya hai aur doob ke jaana hai! #LoveSexAurDhokha2 in cinemas 19th April.”
Love, Sex Aur Dhokha 2 will delve into the intricacies of love in modern times. It will showcase how love and its parameters have changed in the digital world. The movie will rightfully depict the absence of love from most relationship in the digital era.
The movie dives deeper into the facets of love, betrayal and drama which eventually causes a person to suffer emotionally. It will showcase the drawbacks of technology with its involvement in relationships.
Earlier, Ektaa Kapoor also announced her joint venture with Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Productions for a high-budget film. The untitled film features Kartik Aaryan in the lead and will be released on the 15th of August, 2025.
