Expressing her gratitude, she noted that the record had given her a lifetime of memories and kept her dancing across the world. The singer described herself as “grateful beyond words” for music’s ability to connect people, regardless of location.
To commemorate the milestone, Lipa announced the release of a special version of Physical, a track she had worked on with singer Troye Sivan years ago. She revealed that the song had always felt like it needed the right moment for its release, and the album’s anniversary provided the perfect occasion. The new version was set to drop at midnight, adding excitement to the celebration.
Originally released in 2020, Future Nostalgia became Lipa’s first UK number-one album and achieved global success with hits like Don’t Start Now, Break My Heart, and Levitating.
