Comedian Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa were questioned for 15 hours yesterday after NCB raided their flat along with three other prime suspected location in Mumbai. Lokhandwala, Andheri and Versova being the prime locations. According to NCB, the couple has accepted that they consume drugs. NCB release read, “Both Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa accepted consuming ganja. Ms.Singh was placed under arrest under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.”
As per reports, a small quantity of drugs was found at their flat and about 86.5 grams of cannabis was recovered on Saturday morning. However, the quantity of drug that they had stored was not on a commercial level, but it can definitely send them to jail for 10 years.
However, over the past few months NCB has been digging deep into the Bollywood’s drug cases. So far, the NCB has questioned actors like Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Rakulpreet Singh, Shraddha Kapoor and Rhea Chakraborty. Earlier this month, NCB had raided Arjun Rampal and his girlfriend’s home and summoned them for questioning in relation to Arjun’s girlfriend, Gabriella Demetriades’s brother who is a South African national and allegedly is a drug peddlar. He has been kept in NCB’s custody for questioning right now.
