Punjabi action film Shera began its box office journey on May 15 with a fair opening across selected cinema circuits. The movie generated attention before release due to its action-packed trailer and strong appeal among Punjabi cinema audiences.

As per early trade reports by Sacnilk and regional tracking reports, Shera earned an estimated ₹0.55–0.70 crore on its opening day in India. The film witnessed better occupancy in Punjab and nearby regions, while collections in other markets remained comparatively limited.

Directed by Savio Sanddhu, the movie blends action, drama and emotional family themes. The film’s promotional material highlighted high-energy action sequences and mass-entertainment elements, which contributed to its opening-day footfalls.

Trade analysts believe Punjabi films often rely heavily on word-of-mouth and weekend growth after their initial release. While Day 1 numbers remain moderate, the upcoming Saturday and Sunday collections will play a key role in determining the movie’s box office trajectory.
