In the current tweet, it has tweeted an alert with a severe thunderstorm with lightning very likely over Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh during the next 24 hours. This may cause injuries leading to casualties to people and animals staying outdoors.

It has created a tweet on extremely heavy rainfalls at Konkan and Goa for the next two days.

The IMD also Predicted thunderstorms with light to moderate intensity rain is likely in parts of Delhi, the National Capital Region, and Haryana.
It is likely to witness very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Gujarat, central Maharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Telangana, coastal and south interior Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal on Monday.
