Zee Entertainment Enterprises has announced significant changes in its senior management team. Sujal Parekh, previously the Business Head of Zee Music, has been promoted to the position of Senior Management Personnel. Parekh’s elevation is effective from 31 March 2026.
Sujal Parekh brings with him two decades of experience in the media and entertainment industry. Before his role at Zee, he served as General Manager & Director at Warner Music for India and SAARC. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in expanding Warner’s digital media footprint, overseeing acquisitions such as Divo TV, E-Positive, SkillBox, and Global Music Junction.
In another development, Vikas Somani, a Senior Management Personnel at Zee Entertainment, has resigned from his post. Somani, who served as Head of Strategy, M&A, and Investor Relations, expressed his intention to pursue opportunities outside the organisation. His resignation is also effective from 31 March 2026.
In a heartfelt resignation letter addressed to Punit Goenka, Somani reflected on his enriching journey at Zee, highlighting the invaluable learning and diverse experiences he gained during his tenure. He expressed gratitude for the trust and support extended to him and conveyed his best wishes to the company for future success.
