Vodafone Idea has received confirmation from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) that its Adjusted Gross Revenue (AGR) dues have been finalised at ₹64,046 crore as of 31 December 2025. This development follows previous communications about the AGR matter, where the dues were initially frozen at ₹87,695 crore, pending reassessment.
The finalisation of the dues comes after a committee formed by the DoT reviewed the figures. The revised amount represents a significant reduction from the earlier estimate, providing some relief to the telecom giant.
Vodafone Idea is required to pay the finalised dues in a structured manner. The payment plan includes a minimum annual payment of ₹100 crore over four years, starting from the financial year 2031-32 to 2034-35. The remaining balance will be settled in six equal annual instalments from FY 2035-36 to FY 2040-41.
This update is part of the ongoing resolution of Vodafone Idea‘s AGR issues, which have been a significant financial challenge for the company. The Supreme Court had previously allowed the government to consider Vodafone Idea’s grievances regarding AGR calculations, leading to this reassessment.
