Ramkrishna Forgings has commenced commercial production of its new horizontal casting line, DISA FLEX 80, with a production capacity of 28,800 metric tonnes per annum. The facility, located at Plant VIII in Jharkhand, began operations on 31 March 2026.
The investment for the new casting line amounts to ₹249 crore, financed through a combination of debt and internal accruals. This strategic expansion is aimed at enhancing the company’s capabilities in the automotive casting sector, allowing it to offer a comprehensive range of products to existing and new customers in the casting segment.
The new casting line is designed to meet high-quality standards and cater to specific customer requirements, marking a significant step in Ramkrishna Forgings‘ growth strategy. The company currently had no existing capacity in casting, making this addition a crucial development in its operational capabilities.
