Ramkrishna Forgings has commenced commercial production of its new horizontal casting line, DISA FLEX 80, with a production capacity of 28,800 metric tonnes per annum. The facility, located at Plant VIII in , began operations on 31 March 2026.

The investment for the new casting line amounts to ₹249 crore, financed through a combination of debt and internal accruals. This strategic expansion is aimed at enhancing the company’s capabilities in the automotive casting sector, allowing it to offer a comprehensive range of products to existing and new customers in the casting segment.

The new casting line is designed to meet high-quality standards and cater to specific customer requirements, marking a significant step in ‘ growth strategy. The company currently had no existing capacity in casting, making this addition a crucial development in its operational capabilities.
