NTPC Green Energy’s group capacity expanded to 9,292.68 MW following the commercial operation declaration of the second phase of a 250 MW solar project in Andhra Pradesh. The 91.6 MW capacity, operated by Ayana Kadapa Renewable Power, became operational from 27th February 2026, based on a certificate from Solar Energy Corporation of India.

The first phase capacity of 158.4 MW from the same project had already commenced commercial operation, as disclosed on 20th February 2026. Ayana Kadapa Renewable Power is a subsidiary of Ayana Renewable Power, which is wholly owned by ONGC NTPC Green, the joint venture entity. The group’s installed capacity stood at 9,201.08 MW before this addition.
