Healing Hands Clinic, India’s largest proctology-focused specialist clinic chain, has received an investment from L Catterton, a leading global consumer-focused private equity firm. The partnership aims to accelerate Healing Hands’ nationwide expansion and make specialized anorectal care more accessible across India.

Founded in 2013 by Dr. Ashwin Porwal, Dr. Snehal Porwal, and Roshan Porwal, Healing Hands Clinic has grown from a single clinic in Pune to 36 centers across 14 cities, offering holistic treatment for piles, fissures, fistulas, and constipation. The clinic combines allopathic medical services with innovative plant-based products and minimally invasive procedures.

Healing Hands is transforming how anorectal care is delivered in India,” said Sanjiv Mehta, Executive Chairman of L Catterton India. “We are glad to support its continued work in providing compassionate and effective care nationwide.”

Anjana Sasidharan, Partner and Co-Head of India at L Catterton, added, “The clinic’s focus on quality outcomes and patient experience has helped it scale rapidly while remaining bootstrapped. Our investment will help strengthen its position as India’s trusted name in proctology.”

Welcoming the investment, Dr. Ashwin and Dr. Snehal Porwal said, “Partnering with L Catterton marks a key milestone in our mission to redefine proctology in India. The firm’s expertise in healthcare and shared values will help us deliver consistent, high-quality care and expand our network further.”

Roshan Porwal, Co-Founder and Director, added, “This collaboration will amplify our purpose — to make quality anorectal care accessible to every Indian city.”
