GAIL (India) has announced the nomination of Shri Rohit as a Government Nominee Director, following a directive from the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas. The appointment is for a period of three years on a co-terminus basis or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The nomination was formalised through Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas Letter No. CA-31022/1/2021-CA-PNG (37493) dated 9 March 2026. GAIL stated that it is undertaking necessary action to complete the appointment formalities and will submit requisite disclosures in due course in compliance with SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
