G R Infraprojects has received a significant contract from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the upgradation of a section of the NH-56 in Gujarat. The project involves transforming the existing two-lane carriageway into a four-lane divided carriageway, extending from Nasarpore Village in Umarpada Taluka to Malotha Village in Vyara Taluka, covering a length of 60.21 kilometres.
The contract, awarded on a Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) basis, is valued at ₹1,453.57 crore, excluding GST. This project is a domestic endeavour and is expected to be completed within 910 days from the appointed date. The contract does not involve any related party transactions, and there is no interest from the promoter group in the awarding entity.
