Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WAAREERTL), has received a Letter of Award (LOA) for an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract for a 125 MWAC (181.3 MWp DC) solar power project. This turnkey project also includes long-term operation and maintenance.
Awarded by a leading power distribution company in India, this contract reinforces Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited’s position as a key player in the renewable energy sector. The total order value is approximately INR 740.06 crore, inclusive of taxes, making it a significant milestone in the company’s growth. The project is scheduled for completion within 18 months from the contract signing date.
The consortium, consisting of three members, will jointly develop the project, with the specific inter-se arrangements between them to be finalized in due course. As a domestic project, it aligns with India’s commitment to expanding renewable energy capacity and achieving sustainability goals.
Importantly, neither Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited’s promoter group nor any related entities have any interest in the awarding entity. Additionally, this contract does not fall under related-party transactions, ensuring transparency and regulatory compliance.
