According to the company’s disclosure, the confirmation letter is dated December 23, 2025, and was received on December 26, 2025 at 4:43 PM IST, after completion of the required statutory compliances. The intimation was made in continuation of the company’s earlier stock exchange filing.
The Depo Graphite–Vanadium Block comprises graphite and vanadium, both of which are classified as critical minerals. The block was awarded through the government’s auction process as part of Tranche IV of critical mineral auctions.
Vedanta stated that the addition of this block will form part of its critical minerals portfolio. No further details regarding timelines, investment outlay, or production plans were disclosed in the filing.
