Tata Consultancy Services (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS) has expanded its strategic collaboration with Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ: AMD) to co-develop rack-scale artificial intelligence infrastructure in India, strengthening the country’s national AI ambitions.

The partnership will see TCS, through its subsidiary HyperVault AI Data Center Limited (HyperVault), collaborate with AMD to design and deploy AI-ready data center architecture built on AMD’s “Helios” platform. The initiative is aligned with India’s national AI priorities and aims to support the development of sovereign AI factories.

The “Helios” platform is engineered to deliver rack-scale AI performance and will be powered by AMD Instinct™ MI455X GPUs, next-generation AMD EPYC™ “Venice” CPUs, AMD Pensando™ Vulcano NICs, and the open ROCm™ software ecosystem. The platform is designed to enable high-performance AI computing while ensuring scalability and operational efficiency for enterprises and hyperscale operators.

Under the expanded collaboration, TCS and AMD will jointly offer an AI-ready data center blueprint capable of supporting up to 200 MW of capacity. The companies will also work with hyperscalers and AI firms to accelerate large-scale data center build-outs across India.

TCS established HyperVault in 2025 with a focus on delivering gigawatt-scale, secure, and reliable AI-ready infrastructure. The subsidiary is positioned to serve hyperscalers, AI companies, and global enterprises seeking scalable computing environments tailored for advanced AI workloads.
