Tamilnad Mercantile Bank (TMB), one of India’s premier scheduled commercial banks, has announced the launch of three groundbreaking initiatives aimed at enhancing customer service and operational efficiency. The newly launched Global NRI Center (GNC), Credit Management Center (CMC), and Transaction Banking Group (TBG) reflect TMB’s commitment to offering innovative financial solutions and attracting a global customer base.
The GNC, located at TMB’s Thoothukudi headquarters, is a dedicated hub for NRI investments, simplifying the onboarding process with digital solutions and offering 24/7 customer service. This move is designed to streamline global bank partnerships and ensure a seamless banking experience for non-resident Indians (NRIs) worldwide.
In addition, TMB has introduced the CMC to optimize credit processes and improve operational efficiency. This initiative will enhance the bank’s ability to offer faster and more reliable credit services to its customers.
The TBG further strengthens TMB’s market presence by simplifying onboarding, fostering strategic partnerships, and introducing market-responsive product innovations. These efforts are designed to expand the bank’s reach and deliver high-value accounts, especially from the NRI segment.
