Food delivery platform Swiggy reported a net loss of ₹1,081 crore for the quarter ended March 2025, more than doubling its loss of ₹554.8 crore in the same period last year, even as revenues surged.
The company’s revenue rose 44.8% year-on-year to ₹4,410 crore, compared to ₹3,045.5 crore in Q4FY24, reflecting strong growth across its food delivery and quick commerce verticals.
However, profitability metrics weakened, with EBITDA loss expanding to ₹962 crore from ₹436 crore a year ago. The spike in losses was attributed to continued investments in delivery infrastructure, marketing spends, and promotional costs.
The Q4 numbers come at a time when Swiggy is reportedly working toward a public listing and faces stiff competition from Zomato and other players in the quick commerce segment.
Further financial and operational details are awaited from the company.
