SpiceJet has cleared pending Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) dues totaling ₹310 crore, including employee TDS, for the second quarter of FY 2025. Since September 26, 2024, the airline has settled over ₹600 crore in outstanding liabilities, including salaries, GST, and Provident Fund contributions. Additionally, SpiceJet has reached settlements with several aircraft lessors as part of its strategic financial plan aimed at stabilizing operations.

Ajay Singh, Chairman and Managing Director of SpiceJet, expressed satisfaction with the airline’s progress, stating, “We are committed to setting our house in order and are pleased to have cleared all pending TDS dues. This marks a significant step forward for SpiceJet, reinforcing our commitment to financial stability and responsible business practices.”

As of 11:06 am the shares were trading 0.91% lower at ₹56.64 on NSE.
