SJVN Limited has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from the Government of Mizoram for the Darzo Lui Pumped Storage Project, valued at Rs 13,950 crore. The project, which has an installed capacity of 2,400 MW, will be developed across Darzo Nallah, a tributary of the Tuipui river.
The contract, awarded domestically, is expected to be completed within 72 months. The project’s estimated cost, including IDC and financing costs at April 2023 price levels, is Rs 13,947.50 crore. The agreement between SJVN and the Government of Mizoram is to be signed within three months.
