Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited has announced its consolidated sales performance for December 2025 along with quarterly figures for the third quarter of FY26.

In the stainless steel segment, December 2025 volumes stood at 7,393 MT, reflecting a 19.07% year-on-year increase, while average realisations rose 18.18% to ₹1,44,988 per MT. On a month-on-month basis, volumes increased sharply by 44.11% compared to November 2025, with realisations improving marginally by 1.79%. For Q3 FY26, stainless steel volumes declined 9.86% quarter-on-quarter, even as realisations increased by 8.43%.

Aluminium foil sales in December 2025 declined 4.69% year-on-year to 1,820 MT, while average realisations increased 7.35% to ₹3,82,411 per MT. Compared to November 2025, volumes were lower by 5.47%, whereas realisations improved by 2.71%. On a quarterly basis, aluminium foil volumes fell 3.01% in Q3 FY26, with realisations declining 2.68% quarter-on-quarter.

Pellet sales during December 2025 stood at 85,413 MT, down 1.95% year-on-year, while average realisations increased 5.55% to ₹9,170 per MT. Month-on-month volumes declined 16.72%, though realisations rose 1.65%. For the quarter ended December 2025, pellet volumes decreased 9.46% quarter-on-quarter, with a marginal 0.85% increase in realisations.

The speciality alloys segment reported strong volume growth. December 2025 volumes increased 50.05% year-on-year to 21,759 MT, with realisations rising 3.12% to ₹92,423 per MT. On a month-on-month basis, volumes were up 11.98%, while realisations declined 1.28%. For Q3 FY26, volumes increased 6.00% quarter-on-quarter, whereas realisations were lower by 2.31%.

Carbon steel, which includes billet and long steel products, recorded December 2025 volumes of 145,618 MT, down 8.03% year-on-year, with realisations declining 4.40% to ₹41,096 per MT. Compared to November 2025, volumes increased 9.30% and realisations rose 3.87%. On a quarterly basis, carbon steel volumes declined 3.34% and realisations fell 3.00% in Q3 FY26.

CR coil and CR sheets showed significant expansion following the commissioning of the colour-coated plant at Jamuria. December 2025 volumes rose sharply year-on-year to 18,078 MT, with realisations increasing 7.24% to ₹72,983 per MT. Month-on-month, volumes grew 18.79%, while realisations declined 2.24%. For Q3 FY26, volumes increased 21.43% quarter-on-quarter, with a 0.83% rise in realisations.

HR tubes and pipes, produced using repurposed side-slitted HR coils, recorded December 2025 volumes of 478 MT. Volumes increased 25.87% month-on-month, while realisations declined 1.61%. On a quarterly basis, volumes rose 81.09% and realisations increased 3.34% in Q3 FY26.

Sponge iron sales in December 2025 increased 19.52% year-on-year to 89,905 MT, though realisations declined 7.98% to ₹22,461 per MT. Compared to November 2025, volumes rose 16.95% and realisations improved 1.45%. For the quarter, sponge iron volumes increased 33.80%, while realisations were lower by 3.95%.

Pig iron volumes in December 2025 stood at 55,783 MT, up 45.49% year-on-year, following the stabilisation of blast furnace operations at Jamuria. However, month-on-month volumes declined 35.44%, while realisations improved 2.12% to ₹32,265 per MT. On a quarterly basis, pig iron volumes declined 17.66% and realisations fell 1.86%.
