Rajesh Power Services Limited has announced that it has received a significant turnkey contract from Madhya Gujarat Vij Company Limited (MGVCL) for the conversion of the existing 11kV HT network to underground cable/MVCC. The project will cover the jurisdictions of Mehmedabad, Anand, Petlad, and Nadiad under MGVCL.
The contract, awarded in the normal course of business, is valued at ₹182.62 crore, inclusive of taxes. It is scheduled for execution over a 12-month period. Notably, the order has been awarded by a domestic entity, and there is no involvement of promoters, promoter groups, or related parties, ensuring the transaction is independent and transparent.
Recently, the company also bagged orders worth ₹95 crore for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of GIS substations in Gujarat. This project involves work on 400kV/33kV and 66kV/33kV gas-insulated substations and was awarded by a domestic private entity in a similar line of business. The order is also scheduled to be executed within 12 months and does not fall under related party transactions.
