RailTel Corporation of India Ltd., a leading telecom infrastructure provider for Indian Railways, has secured a work order worth ₹13.34 crore from Pcste South Central Railways. The project involves the provision of EPC Core Infrastructure for the deployment of 4G LTE-R technology across 523 RKM in the Secunderabad Division.
The initiative is a part of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between South Central Railways (SCR) and RailTel Corporation. The work order is expected to be completed by December 4, 2027, showcasing RailTel’s expertise in providing cutting-edge communication solutions to improve railway operations.
The project will play a pivotal role in modernizing communication networks for the railway division. The deployment of 4G LTE-R technology ensures better connectivity, streamlined operations, and enhanced efficiency across the Secunderabad Division’s railway network.
