Persistent has made significant strides by investing in renewable energy, achieving 39% of its global energy usage from renewable sources, and implementing energy-efficient infrastructure.
The company has also reduced emissions by using two windmills and solar rooftops, contributing to a 42% reduction in emissions. Furthermore, Persistent has invested in high-quality carbon credits and renewable energy certificates to offset its remaining emissions. With a long-term goal of reaching net-zero emissions by 2050, the company is aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and is working on expanding its efforts to further reduce its environmental footprint.
