Pace Digitek Limited has announced a major achievement by securing an order worth ₹1,159.31 crore, including GST, from the Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd (SECI). The contract involves the supply and installation of a 600 MW / 1200 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), along with a comprehensive 10-year service and maintenance agreement for the DC Package.
Under this turnkey project, Pace Digitek will handle the design and engineering of the complete system, supply BESS DC Blocks with HVAC and fire protection systems, the Power Conversion System, Battery Management System, and Energy Management System. The company will also manage the integration of the BMS and EMS with the PCS, complete cabling, testing, commissioning, and trial operation of the full system.
The project timeline is set for 11 months to deliver 50% of the awarded capacity and 13 months for full supply. Testing and commissioning will follow, with 50% completed within 14 months and full capacity commissioned in 16 months.
This order solidifies Pace Digitek’s position as a leading player in India’s renewable energy sector, showcasing its ability to deliver high-capacity, technologically advanced energy storage solutions. The project is expected to enhance energy reliability and management, contributing significantly to India’s sustainable energy goals.
