Orient Green Power Company has entered into a contract with Suzlon Energy Limited for the supply of wind energy generators aggregating to 6.3 MW, the company informed exchanges on Thursday, January 29.

According to the disclosure, the Investment, Borrowing and Banking Committee of the board of Orient Green Power’s material step-down subsidiary, Clarion Wind Farm Private Limited, approved the contract at its meeting held on January 28, 2026. The agreement was subsequently executed on the same day.

Under the contract, Suzlon Energy will supply three wind energy generators of 2.1 MW capacity each for the re-powering of an existing wind farm at the Devarkulam site in Tamil Nadu. The contract is a domestic arrangement and pertains solely to the supply of wind energy generators.

The total consideration for the contract is approximately Rs 32.87 crore, inclusive of GST. The execution of the contract is scheduled to be completed on or before June 30, 2026.

Orient Green Power clarified that neither the promoter nor promoter group entities have any interest in Suzlon Energy, and the transaction does not fall under related party transactions.

The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
