Monthly Highlights (November 2024):
- Chhattisgarh: Production surged to 3.27 million tonnes (MT) compared to 2.68 MT in November 2023, while sales improved to 2.90 MT from 2.80 MT.
- Karnataka: Production increased slightly to 1.24 MT from 1.15 MT, and sales grew to 1.10 MT from 0.99 MT.
Cumulative Highlights (April-November 2024):
- Chhattisgarh: Cumulative production stood at 17.13 MT, slightly below 18.26 MT from the same period last year, while sales rose to 19.66 MT from 19.04 MT.
- Karnataka: Cumulative production reached 8.93 MT compared to 9.05 MT last year, while sales slightly declined to 8.18 MT from 8.74 MT.
Overall Performance:
- Total production for November 2024 rose to 4.51 MT, a significant increase from 3.83 MT in November 2023.
- Cumulative production from April to November reached 26.06 MT, compared to 27.31 MT in the same period last year.
- Total sales for November stood at 4.00 MT, with cumulative sales reaching 27.84 MT, marginally higher than 27.78 MT last year.
