
NBCC (India) Limited has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Limited (MAHAPREIT) on March 26, 2025. This partnership aims to undertake consultancy, EPC, redevelopment, and infrastructure projects across Maharashtra.
With this collaboration, NBCC marks its entry into Maharashtra’s redevelopment sector, having successfully transformed Delhi’s urban landscape. The partnership will focus on key projects, including cluster development in Thane, data centers, renewable energy initiatives, and slum rehabilitation in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). Additionally, the companies will execute affordable housing projects under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).
Valued at approximately ₹25,000 crore, these projects will be executed in phases over the next three to five years. This initiative aligns with the Government of India’s vision for sustainable urban development and affordable housing.
The MoU will leverage the strengths of both entities, enhancing client acquisition and service delivery capabilities. By combining expertise, NBCC and MAHAPREIT aim to drive infrastructure growth and boost Maharashtra’s real estate and renewable energy sectors.
This collaboration underscores NBCC’s commitment to nation-building through large-scale infrastructure development, further solidifying its position as a leader in urban transformation.
In the meantime, NBCC shares closed at 81.08 today, down from the opening price of 83.50, after hitting a high of 84.50 and a low of 80.86 during the session. The stock remains significantly below its 52-week high of 139.83 but above its 52-week low of 70.80.
