Reliance Industries’ JioStar segment delivered strong traction in Q4 FY26, supported by record digital engagement and large-scale sports viewership.

The segment reported quarterly gross revenue of Rs 9,784 crore, while revenue from operations stood at Rs 8,372 crore. EBITDA for the quarter came in at Rs 827 crore, with an EBITDA margin of 9.9%. Profit after tax stood at Rs 419 crore.

Operationally, JioStar continued to strengthen its leadership across both television and digital platforms. The network recorded an industry-leading TV entertainment viewership share of 34.2%, reaching over 810 million viewers across India.

On the digital front, JioHotstar averaged around 500 million monthly active users during the quarter. The platform also achieved a global milestone, with the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Final recording a peak concurrency of 72.5 million users, the highest ever globally for any streaming event.

Growth was further supported by strong digital subscription momentum, improved user engagement, and product innovation including AI-powered voice search and in-app commerce integrations. The platform also streamed major sporting events like the T20 World Cup and IPL 2026, driving significant user engagement.

Overall, JioStar’s performance highlights its strong positioning as a dominant player in India’s media, entertainment, and digital streaming ecosystem.
