City gas distribution company Mahanagar Gas today, July 25 reported a decent set of Q1FY25 earnings. The company’s revenue came in at Rs 1,589 crore against Rs 1,567 crore posted in the previous quarter, an uptick of 1.4%. The company’s net profit for the quarter stood at Rs 284.5 crore against Rs 264 crore in the previous quarter, this marks a jump of 7.4% on a sequential basis.

Mahanagar Gas’ margin however improved 110 bps over the previous quarter, coming in at 26.3% against 25.2% in the previous quarter. EBITDA too surged 6.3% QoQ to Rs 418 crore against Rs 394 crore in Q4FY24.
