Lucent Industries Limited has announced the acquisition of 100% equity shares of Mobavenue Media Private Limited. Shareholders approved the proposal through a postal ballot on August 29, 2025, following which the company signed a Share Purchase Agreement on September 3, 2025. The acquisition will be completed for a cash consideration of about ₹59.68 crore at ₹57,890 per share.
The transaction is classified as a related party acquisition, as both Lucent Industries and Mobavenue Media share the same promoters. Promoters Kunal Kothari, Tejas Rathod and Prachi hold 67.62% in Lucent Industries and 100% in Mobavenue Media. The company has stated that the deal is being carried out at arm’s length and in compliance with applicable laws.
Mobavenue Media, incorporated in 2017 and based in Mumbai, provides AI-driven digital advertising and consumer growth technology solutions. The company reported revenue of ₹9,828.33 lakh, profit after tax of ₹1,417.39 lakh and net worth of ₹3,530.72 lakh in FY 2023-24. In FY 2022-23, revenue stood at ₹7,714.14 lakh with profit after tax of ₹1,390.62 lakh, while in FY 2021-22, revenue was ₹3,554.49 lakh with profit after tax of ₹498.85 lakh.
Lucent Industries has stated that the acquisition is aimed at streamlining operations and aligning business strategies under a common management structure. The company expects to complete the acquisition within 90 days.
