LTM, formerly known as LTIMindtree and currently undergoing a proposed name change subject to shareholder approval, has announced a collaboration with NVIDIA to support the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) in modernising India’s national tax analytics platform under the Insight 2.0 initiative. The seven-year mandate is focused on strengthening India’s tax administration framework by leveraging scalable artificial intelligence and advanced analytics capabilities.
As part of the Insight 2.0 programme, LTM will deploy a secure cloud environment powered by NVIDIA AI infrastructure to simplify workloads and deliver real-time insights to CBDT. The upgraded environment is designed to handle large-scale data processing requirements while ensuring high levels of security and operational efficiency. The collaboration integrates advanced AI capabilities into the core of the tax analytics system to enable smarter decision-making and improved administrative oversight.
LTM’s BlueVerse platform will serve as the intelligence backbone of the programme, enabling AI integration across all operational layers of the national tax platform. The platform will support the development of a smart citizen portal, automated campaign management systems, enhanced case workflows, and AI-driven helpdesk assistance. By embedding AI into these processes, the initiative aims to improve response times, enhance compliance monitoring, and streamline interactions between taxpayers and authorities.
The BlueVerse-enabled infrastructure is expected to create a seamless digital interface for citizens, reducing leakages and strengthening governance mechanisms. With real-time analytics and automation capabilities, the modernised platform seeks to enhance transparency, improve compliance, and elevate the overall taxpayer experience across India.
The partnership between LTM and NVIDIA reflects a broader push towards AI-led digital governance.
