Kitex Garments Limited has announced that its subsidiary, Kitex Apparel Parks Limited, has officially commenced commercial production at its new manufacturing facility in Warangal district, Telangana.
In the exchange filings, the company shared, “Kitex Apparel Parks Limited, being the subsidiary company of Kitex Garments Limited has commenced the commercial production at its manufacturing unit situated at Warangal District, Telangana State.”
With this new unit becoming operational, Kitex Garments aims to strengthen its production capabilities and cater to the growing demand in the apparel sector. The Warangal plant is expected to boost manufacturing output, generate employment opportunities in the region, and enhance the company’s overall growth trajectory.
In the meantime, Kitex Garments’ stock witnessed selling pressure on Thursday, closing 5% lower at ₹169.56 on the NSE. The stock opened flat at ₹169.56 and slipped to the day’s low of the same level, while touching an intraday high of ₹175.40 before ending in the red. With today’s decline, the company’s shares remain well below their 52-week high of ₹324.42, though still comfortably above the 52-week low of ₹117.87.
