J. K. Cement has informed stock exchanges that it has been declared the preferred bidder for the Kishanpura Limestone Block in Rajasthan. The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
According to the regulatory filing, the company participated in an e-auction conducted by the Government of Rajasthan and emerged as the preferred bidder for the mining lease. The Kishanpura Limestone Block is located in Tehsil Deh of Nagaur district, Rajasthan. The limestone block covers an area of about 483 hectares and has been classified under G3 level of exploration.
The company stated that the information regarding the preferred bidder status was received on December 23, 2025, at around 7:30 PM (IST). At this stage, the announcement relates to the outcome of the auction process, and further steps will be subject to compliance with applicable laws, approvals, and execution of the mining lease as per government norms.
