Inox Wind Limited (IWL), one of India’s leading wind energy solutions providers, has secured a significant 102.3 MW wind power order from ABREL EPC Ltd., a subsidiary of Aditya Birla Renewables Limited (ABReL). This marks the first-ever collaboration between Inox Wind and Aditya Birla Renewables, underscoring IWL’s growing presence among marquee renewable energy developers in the country.
Under the agreement, Inox Wind will supply its latest 3.3 MW wind turbine generators for renewable energy projects being developed by ABREL EPC Ltd. in Karnataka. The order strengthens Inox Wind’s order book and reinforces its position as a preferred supplier of high-capacity wind turbines tailored for India’s evolving clean energy requirements.
Commenting on the development, Sanjeev Agarwal, CEO of Inox Wind Limited, expressed optimism about the partnership. He said the company is delighted to work with Aditya Birla Renewables, a prominent player with ambitious plans to deliver long-term clean energy solutions across India. Agarwal highlighted that the collaboration aligns well with India’s broader energy transition goals, including decarbonisation and sustainability targets.
The deal also reflects Inox Wind’s continued success in building relationships with new customers while strengthening ties with existing ones. According to the company, both new and repeat orders validate the strength of its product portfolio and end-to-end service capabilities, which include wind turbine manufacturing, project execution, and long-term operations and maintenance.
