Godrej Properties Ltd. (GPL), a listed real estate developer (BSE: GODREJPROP), has announced the acquisition of approximately 34 acres of land in Vadodara, Gujarat. The land parcel is located on Ajwa Road, a growing real estate corridor known for plotted developments and villa projects.
The project is planned as a premium plotted residential development with an estimated saleable area of around 0.9 lakh square feet. This marks GPL’s second land acquisition in Gujarat within the past year. In October 2024, the company had acquired a ~3-acre plot in Vastrapur, Ahmedabad.
Ajwa Road offers good connectivity to key parts of Vadodara. The area has access to commercial hubs, educational institutions, and leisure facilities. Its location near Vadodara Airport and the city center supports the residential potential of the site. Infrastructure in the region has been developing steadily, contributing to the area’s real estate activity.
The Vadodara entry is in line with GPL’s ongoing strategy of expanding its presence in key real estate markets across India.
