
Engineers India Limited (EIL) has been awarded a significant consultancy contract by Indian Oil Corporation Limited for the Paradip Petrochemical Complex (PDPC) Project in Odisha. The contract, valued at approximately ₹106.5 crore, covers Phase-I of Project Management/Managing Project Management Consultancy (MPMC) services for the overall project and Project Management Consultancy (PMC-2) services for Polypropylene (PP), Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA), Ethylene Dichloride/Vinyl Chloride Monomer (EDC/VCM) units, as well as Offsites and Utilities (O&U).
This strategic project, set to be completed in 10 months, strengthens EIL’s position as a leading engineering consultancy firm in India. Being a domestic contract, it aligns with India’s vision of enhancing petrochemical infrastructure, boosting industrial growth, and generating employment opportunities.

Engineers India Q3 results
Engineers India Limited (EIL) recently announced its financial results for the quarter ending December 31, 2024, showing a decline in revenue but a significant rise in net profit. The company’s revenue from operations dropped to ₹764.6 crore, an 11.8% decrease compared to ₹867.6 crore in the same quarter last year. Similarly, total income fell to ₹802.6 crore from ₹898.1 crore in the previous year’s quarter.
Despite the decline in revenue, EIL reported an impressive increase in net profit, which surged by 71.66% year-on-year to ₹108.73 crore, up from ₹63.34 crore in Q3 FY24. This growth was primarily driven by improved operational efficiencies and lower expenses. The company’s profit before tax (PBT) also stood strong at ₹125.8 crore, highlighting its resilience and ability to optimize costs effectively.
