DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations Limited and Volatus Aerospace Inc. have entered into a strategic partnership, through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on December 17, 2024. This collaboration focuses on advancing drone-based logistics and services in India, combining DroneAcharya’s expertise in drone surveying and training with Volatus Aerospace’s innovative drone delivery technology.
Volatus Aerospace, a leader in compliant drone delivery certified by Transport Canada, brings its cutting-edge logistics platform and turnkey cargo systems. DroneAcharya, a DGCA-approved organization, contributes local infrastructure, skilled resources, and expertise to support the manufacturing, training, and deployment of drone solutions in India.
A key product of this partnership is the Condor drone, a heavy-payload logistics solution capable of carrying up to 180 kilograms, revolutionizing cargo delivery in India. DroneAcharya will also serve as the manufacturing partner for Volatus in India, driving local production and distribution of advanced drone solutions.
The partnership aims to target institutional sales across India, with DroneAcharya leading business development, tender submissions, and client engagement, while Volatus Aerospace provides technical support and capabilities demonstrations. Additionally, the exchange of technology between the two companies will further strengthen their operations and expand service offerings, including FPV (First-Person View) drone technology and room intervention solutions.
