Dee Development has secured its first-ever contracts for the supply of seamless pipes, marking a major milestone for the company’s newly established forged seamless pipe plant at Anjar, Gujarat. The order, valued at ₹58 Crore, has been awarded by a domestic entity operating as a joint venture between an Indian and a foreign conglomerate in the power sector.
The contract has been awarded through a Letter of Intent for the manufacturing of Alloy Steel Seamless Pipes. While the name of the customer has not been disclosed due to commercial considerations, the project is confirmed to be from a domestic entity and does not involve any related party transactions.
This development represents a significant operational breakthrough for Dee Development, as it is the first commercial order to be executed from its new forged seamless pipe facility in Anjar. The plant has been strategically set up to manufacture high-quality alloy steel seamless pipes catering to critical industries such as power generation, oil & gas, and heavy engineering.
The total contract value stands at ₹58 Crore, with execution scheduled to be completed by December 2026. The company has clarified that neither the promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in the awarding entity.
The seamless pipe segment plays a crucial role in high-pressure and high-temperature applications, particularly in the power sector. Securing this order not only validates the operational readiness of Dee Development’s new manufacturing unit but also strengthens its positioning in the alloy steel seamless pipes market.
