Concord Control Systems Limited has secured a significant order linked to India’s railway safety infrastructure push, after its associate company Progota India Private Limited bagged a contract for KAVACH 4.0 from Indian Railways. The development was disclosed by the company under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The order, valued at ₹185.09 crore, involves the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of on-board KAVACH 4.0 locomotive equipment. KAVACH is India’s indigenous automatic train protection system, designed to enhance rail safety by preventing collisions and overspeeding, and the latest 4.0 version represents an upgraded technology framework being rolled out across the network.

As per the disclosure, the contract has been awarded to Progota India Private Limited, which is an associate company of Concord Control Systems Limited. The execution timeline for the project is set at 12 months. The order has been awarded by a domestic entity and will be executed within India.

The company clarified that there is no promoter, promoter group, or group company interest in the entity awarding the order. It was also confirmed that the contract does not fall under related party transactions, ensuring compliance with arm’s length principles and regulatory norms.
