Ceigall India Limited has been declared the L-1 bidder by Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation Ltd for a major Jaipur Metro Phase-II infrastructure package. The bid was submitted under a joint venture arrangement with SAM India Builtwell Pvt. Ltd., where Ceigall India holds a 74% stake, while the remaining 26% is held by the partner company.
The project has been awarded under an EPC and item-rate contract structure and involves the design and construction of a 10.8 km elevated metro corridor in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The scope includes the construction of an elevated viaduct along with ten elevated metro stations, forming a key part of Jaipur Metro Phase-II MRTS expansion.
The stations covered under the contract include Prahladpura, Manpura, Bilwa Kalan, Bilwa, Goner Mod, Sitapura, JECC, Kumbha Marg, Haldighati Gate, and Pinjrapole Gaushala. The project stretch spans from Chainage -600 m to 11,400 m and also includes a spur line towards the metro depot. Architectural finishing is excluded from the present scope of work.
The contract has been awarded by a domestic entity, with no promoter or group company interest involved, and the transaction does not fall under related party transactions. Execution of the project is scheduled to be completed within a period of 34 months from the date of commencement.
The total bid value of the project stands at ₹918.04 crore, highlighting a significant order inflow for Ceigall India in the urban mass transit infrastructure segment. The project strengthens the company’s order book in metro rail construction and reinforces its position as a key EPC player in large-scale elevated transport infrastructure projects across India.
