Ceigall India Limited has secured a major infrastructure contract worth ₹2,160.00 crore from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the four-laning of NH-139W in Bihar. The Letter of Award (LOA), dated February 11, 2026, was received by Ceigall Infra Projects Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company.
This development follows the company’s earlier communication dated January 22, 2026, and marks another significant milestone in Ceigall India’s growing highway construction portfolio.
Project Details: NH-139W Four-Laning in Bihar
The awarded project involves the construction of a 4-lane highway stretch covering a total length of 78.942 km in the state of Bihar. The project will be executed under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM), a widely adopted public-private partnership model in India’s road infrastructure sector.
The project has been divided into two sections:
Section-1: Sahebganj to Areraj – 38.362 km
Section-2: Areraj to Bettiah – 40.580 km
The contract has been awarded by a domestic entity, NHAI, and is categorized as a domestic infrastructure project.
Execution Timeline and O&M Period
As per the terms of the contract, the construction period is set at 730 days. Following the completion of construction, the project will enter a 15-year Operation and Maintenance (O&M) phase, ensuring long-term asset management and maintenance responsibilities.
